The Irvine Fine Art Center, Irvine (OC) just completed its exhibition “On The Beach“as part of their Summer Art Exhibition program. This exhibit features the photographs of Jacques Garnier & Douglas McCulloh and the exhibition ran until September 16, 2008.
From the gallery announcement: These large-scale portraits are unrehearsed and unposed. Part happening, part ritual, part spontaneous ballet, these photographs meet at the intersection of chance and magic.
The accompanying book On the Beach: Chance Portraits from the Two Shores was also available during the exhibit.
